L.O.U.D. Ministries is a mutual venture of Spirit of Hope Catholic Community and Saint Anne’s Episcopal Church. Our ministry is grounded in the Good News of God’s embrace. Our goal is to share with youth that they are loved, they are valued, and they are not alone. As a community, we surround the youth with faith filled, caring adults that assist them in the journey of self discovery, meaning and the development of their fullest potential.

SOH Praise Band
Do you love music? Like to sing? Play the drums, guitar, flute or violin? Then come praise God though music. This ensemble for high school students plays periodically at the 5:00pm Saturday night Mass. Don't worry if you don't know the music--we'll teach you!

Valley Scare at Valley Fair
Date: October 8, 2010
Halloween Haunt at Valley Scare is an awesome Halloween event held at Valley Fair. It is a night of mazes, seven haunted houses, live entertainment and of course all the thrill seeking rides of Valley Fair.
We will meet in the church parking lot at 6:00pm and we will leave Valley Fair at 11:00pm.
All youth grades 6-12 are welcome to join in the fun!
Please fill out a permission slip and bring your $25.00 with you on the night of the event.

Cardboard Box City 2010
Date: October 21, 2010
The Saint Paul Area Council of Churches’ Project Home and Families Moving Forward® of Minneapolis invite youth groups, congregations, community groups and organizations to Sleep Out (in a temporary dwelling, a box or a tent), Rock Out (the band Sheltered Reality will perform live) and help us Knock Out Family Homelessness at our Cardboard Box City event to be held Thursday, Oct. 21, 2010 (MEA weekend) at the Minnesota State Fair Grounds.
If you are interested in attending you must contact Nancy Hochschild by October 8, 2010.
The event does not have a cost, however you will be asked to have people sponsor you.
MEA-GET-AWAY
Dates: October 21-24, 2010. Price: $175.00 Visit their website.
If you are in grades 8-12, come to Castaway over MEA! Come spend time in prayer. Spend time in a hot tub. Spend time with new and old friends. Spend time eating the best camp food you will ever experience. Spend time laughing and crying. Spend time discussing faith and life. Just come and spend time.

DANCE! DANCE! DANCE!
All youth in grades 8-12 are invited to bring your friends and bust out those dancing shoes on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7-10pm. Cost is $5.00. This fall we are planning a black light dance, a superhero dance, and many other exciting themes. Join our Facebook group to learn the theme of the dance.
Refreshments will be available for purchase.
We are always looking for more adults to join in the fun!
